Tuesday Night - Urban Landscapes in Acrylic

Urban Landscapes using palette knives.

This term is all about the palette knife. Paint brushes wont be banned but they will only be used where essential.

We will also be taking a deep dive into composition for both aesthetics and narrative purposes. You may want to test your new composition skills with a made up urban landscape or you may want to find your own image to work from. Look for images with strong forms and striking lighting. Do try to work from photographic reference images rather than other peoples art.

Dates.

This is a 6 week course starting on the 3rd November with sessions running consecutive weeks.

Week 1 will be a teaching week for composition.
