You will select a renowned artwork and carefully recreate it using the same medium, techniques, and stylistic approaches as the original artist.

Over the 6 weeks, you’ll explore the methods behind the iconic work—whether it’s the layered brushstrokes of oil painting, the delicacy of watercolour, or the expressive qualities of charcoal. You’ll gain practical experience in handling materials, deepen your understanding of composition and technique, and build confidence in your own artistic decision-making.

Lesson Prep: You will need to let me know asap what artwork you are studying, what medium you intend to use and what surface and size you will need.

Available art surfaces: watercolour paper, cartridge paper, mixed media paper, canvas paper, pastelmat paper.
