Tuesday Group

Week 1:

With her BA (Hons) in Journalism & Creative Writing and her two self-published books: 'Upgrade' & 'Rebirth', Jazmine Cartwright from Rushden Rhymes is our guest tutor for the session. She will teach you the tricks of the trade when it comes to writing poems. By the end of the session you will have a poem of your own to illustrate!

Week 2: We will explore the world of illustration - function v style.

We'll study a few illustrators. Feel free to bring in some of your own favourites. Then we'll have a go at communicating through illustration alone. Can you instruct someone with drawings only?

Week 3: Design the illustration(s) for your poem.

Week 4-6: Work on your illustration(s) in your medium of choice.
