Monday Night - “Every card tells part of the story.”

In this imaginative and highly creative course, you will redesign an entire pack of playing cards from scratch. Through a series of connected mini artworks, you’ll explore how artists build strong visual themes, create consistency across multiple pieces, and develop artwork that feels unified whilst still allowing each design its own personality.

From suit symbols and colour palettes to character design, composition, pattern, and storytelling, you’ll learn how to carry ideas across an entire collection of artworks without becoming repetitive. Whether your theme becomes whimsical, dark, elegant, surreal, historical, nature-inspired or completely abstract, this course is all about building a cohesive visual world.

Working across a range of small-format designs, you’ll develop skills in:
