Designed to give you a kick start into being arty, this course gives you a solid foundation to build your skills upon, but most importantly, it will show you that you CAN do it - you CAN draw! I simply love watching people that think they have no drawing skills blossom with confidence and pride in themselves. Being able to draw is a superpower but best of all - it is absolutely teachable!
Once you have completed this course you are very much invited to join Scribble Pad Art group on a Tuesday evening, where we will continue to build on your skills as part of a very friendly and supportive group.
The course is made up of 6 x 2 hour sessions on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm and will cover what I consider to be the 3 pillars of confident drawing, 'Seeing like an artist', perspective and colour.
All the equipment that you'll need is provided, although I encourage you to start to build a tool box of your own once you begin to favour equipment you have experienced in class.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who wishes they could draw but absolutely believes that they can't.
It is also suitable for those wanting to get back into art with a fresh perspective.
